Frankincense is very calming and great for emotional support to help ease worries around pregnancy and birth. It is safe for the use in pregnancy and beneficial in the first stage of labour when the cervix is opening and thinning.
Another handy job for Frankincense is healing the perineum after birth if required.
HOW TO USE: The simplest and most common way to use Frankincense in pregnancy or labour is to put a few drops into your palms and rub them together, inhale. Alternatively use a dry cloth or flannel and inhale the aroma when required. You can also use this as a massage oil as long as it’s diluted in a carrier oil. Rubbed on the lower back or stomach can be very comforting.
Mist diffuser: Add 6-8 drops in the water chamber. Enjoy the benefits for your mind, body and soul.
